Whirling Dervishes
If you have not seen the show of Whirling Dervishes yet , I highly recommend it to you! I had an opportunity to see them live in November and thy made me (and the entire audience) breathless.

Dervishes pray and meditate by the means of their dance, of which the most distinctive feature is whirling. They are going to visit Wroclaw again, on the 3rd of April 2016! It’s a Syrian group from from frat Mawlawi, supported vocally by Noureddine Khourchid. On stage you will also hear Abdulrahman Modawar (playing the riq), Mohamad Kahil (playing the daff), Walid Alhamad (playing the tombak), Basem Kadmani (playing the oud), Mhd Ghassan Alrawas and Adel Halima (choirs). And of course there are going to be two dervishes: Hatem Aljamal oraz Mahmoud Altaier.
